Description

TY-R1 RF Universal Receiver — 3-Channel Anti-Copy Encryption Module

The TY-R1 is a 433 MHz universal RF receiver designed for wholesale distributors and OEM integrators who need a flexible, anti-copy solution for retrofit garage doors, lighting controls, gate motors, and industrial wireless switching. Manufactured by Gemu RF (parent: Xiamen Foyum Electronic), each unit ships with self-developed PCBA and proprietary anti-copy pairing logic — no licensing of Merlin / Chamberlain / Hörmann firmware.

Compatible Brands & Remote Types

TY-R1 is designed as a universal learning receiver — it pairs with most 433 MHz fixed-code and rolling-code remotes, including:

  • EU: Hörmann, Sommer, Nice, Beninca, Came, BFT, Faac, Marantec
  • AU: Merlin, B&D, ATA
  • NA: LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Genie (with 315 MHz variant)
  • Industrial: most fixed-code EV1527 / PT2262 / HCS301 remotes

3-Channel Application Examples

  1. Garage door + pedestrian gate + outdoor lighting — one receiver replaces three single-channel units, saving cabinet space and wiring cost.
  2. Industrial shutter control — independent up / stop / down commands via 3 relays.
  3. Smart-home retrofit — wire into existing wiring box, pair with any 433 MHz remote, no Wi-Fi dependency.

Anti-Copy Encryption

When paired in encrypted mode, each remote gets a unique 64-bit rolling key stored only on the receiver and that specific remote. Even if a buyer captures the RF transmission with a sniffer (e.g. with another universal remote or RF analyzer), the signal cannot be replayed by a third-party device. This is the same level of protection used in OEM Merlin M842 / Chamberlain 893MAX systems, but exposed as a generic receiver for retrofit use.
