This page documents the legal framework under which Gemu RF manufactures and ships aftermarket RF remote controls. Our products are independently engineered, with our own PCBA schematics, our own injection-mould tooling, and our own international certifications.
Independent design & manufacturing
All Gemu RF products are designed in-house by our R&D team. Schematics, BOMs, and firmware are version-controlled. We do not relabel OEM products, and we do not source from third-party manufacturers without our own engineering review.
Trademark respect
All brand names referenced in our product listings (Merlin, LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Hörmann, SOMMER, Beninca, Nice, etc.) are the property of their respective trademark holders. These names are used solely to identify compatibility, consistent with aftermarket industry convention.
Gemu RF is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of the brands referenced on this site. Our products are designed to be functionally compatible with the listed receiver models, but they are not OEM-sourced and do not carry OEM warranty or support.

- CE-RED — Radio Equipment Directive conformity assessment per EN 300 220 and EN 301 489. EU 27-country market access.
- FCC Part 15 — Declaration of Conformity on file for unintentional and intentional radiators. North American market access.
- RCM — ACMA registration held by Gemu RF. Australian and New Zealand market access.
- RoHS 3.0 — Material compliance verified for all SKUs in current catalog. EU + global access.
- ISO 9001:2015 — Quality management system certified.
- REACH — EU chemicals regulation compliance maintained.
