Self-learning means the universal remote can receive and store a signal from another remote without pre-programming. You press a button on the universal, and it captures the signal from the original.

How Self-Learning Works

Clear universal remote memory (press 2 buttons for 5 sec)
Place original remote 1 cm from universal
Press button on both simultaneously for 3 sec
LED flashes 3x = success
Test the universal remote
