The Legal Line Every Importer Has to Understand Housings, shells and non-electronic parts are ordinary importable goods. Transponder chips and immobiliser coding devices are treated differently in many jurisdictions, and selling or using them can require authorisation. Before anything else, establish which side of that line your products sit on — with a customs broker […]
Why the Shell Is a Separate Purchase Decision A locksmith replacing a car key housing is usually doing a cosmetic or damage repair on a vehicle whose electronics still work. That means the shell is bought separately from the transponder and the remote board, and it is bought on a different cycle: cheaper, faster-moving, and […]
Why 330MHz Still Has a Market Most volume remote supply sits in the 315MHz and 433/434MHz bands. 330MHz persists because a large installed base of older systems runs on it, particularly in certain European markets, and because it sits outside the bands most commodity suppliers bothered to cover. For a distributor, that makes it a […]
Why 868MHz Matters for This Segment The 868MHz band is the European allocation and it is the band on which much of the installed garage-door base in the UK and Ireland runs. A dealer working those markets needs 868MHz handsets, and a dealer quoting a 433MHz unit into that market is quoting the wrong product. […]
Where D302 Fits The D302 is a three-channel 433MHz handset used on sectional and industrial garage doors. The three-channel format covers two doors plus lighting, which is the common configuration in residential and light-commercial installations in Europe. Reading the Designation TO.GO denotes the transmitter family, 2 denotes the channel count, and WV denotes the coding and transmission variant. As with every gate-operator model number, the trailing letters are the part that decides whether a replacement will actually pair with the control box in your market. A replacement matched on the brand name […]
Why Four-Channel Gate Handsets Sell Well in Europe A four-channel handset covers a small residential estate or a commercial frontage without a second device, which is why the four-channel format dominates European gate work. Buyers in this segment replace handsets on a service basis and they value availability more than the last few percent on […]
Where This Handset Sits in the Gate Range FLO2 is a two-channel 433.92MHz handset in the gate-operator channel. That channel has a different buying dynamic from the garage-door channel: the operator is professionally installed, the buyer is a gate installer, and the replacement cycle is driven by service visits rather than end-user loss. Specification and […]
Where This Motor Fits The AC123-01D drives curtain tracks and light awning systems. Dealers who install these usually also service them, and the handset is the part that gets replaced most often — lost, dropped, or handed over without a spare. That makes the compatible handset a repeat-order SKU rather than a one-off sale. Specification […]
Why Workshop Buyers Concentrate on a Small Model List A roller-shutter workshop does not need a catalogue. It needs the three or four handsets that fit the motors it installs most often, in its local band, in its local code system. The DC1600 is on that list in markets where Dooya-fitted shutters are common. Winning […]
