Why Coil Voltage Is Where Substitution Goes Wrong
A contactor frame size is easy to match. The coil voltage is where a substitution fails in the field, because a 24VDC coil on a 230V control supply will not pull in, and a 230VAC coil on a 24V supply will sit and hum. The two heavy-duty frames and the two three-pole frames below are the ones buyers re-source most often, and all four are ordered across a wide coil range.

How to Order This Without Getting It Wrong
- Send a photo of the incumbent contactor and its ordering code. We reply with the matching frame, a written specification sheet, and a compatibility statement naming exactly which parameters match and which differ.
- Freeze the specification before you shop the price: frame, AC rating, coil voltage, auxiliary contact count, terminal layout.
- We will not quote a substitution where the rating, the coil voltage, or the contact count does not line up. A near-match in a control panel is a commissioning failure.
