A shutter installer with a technician network and a repeat-order book is, functionally, a brand. Customers ask for their parts by the installer’s name, not the motor manufacturer’s. At that point private label stops being a marketing cost and becomes the difference between supplying a product and supplying a brand.

What We Need Before Tooling
- Your SKU list and volume per SKU, not a combined total. Motor and handset have different order cycles.
- Your market, because the radio band and the certification scope both follow it.
- Your artwork, or permission to adapt an existing shell. We do not reproduce another manufacturer’s industrial design.
- Your packaging convention, including barcode and EAN.
The Two-SKU Mistake
Buyers frequently ask for awning and shutter motors under one private-label programme, expecting them to be one mould with one label. They are two specified products, and trying to force them into one housing produces a part that is correctly branded and incorrectly specified. We will tell you when that is the case rather than ship it and take the returns later.
Most successful private-label customers run their brand on one motor and one handset — the two that carry the volume — and buy the rest wholesale.
