What This Block Actually Does
An auxiliary contact block does not switch the load. It mirrors the contactor's state as a low-current signal so a control circuit or a PLC input can see what the main contacts are doing. The 1NO + 1NC arrangement in this block family gives you both a normally-open and a normally-closed indication from one attachment, which is what lets one contactor signal "running" and "stopped" without a second sensing device.
That is why aux blocks are ordered by the pair rather than the single — a panel that has been re-sourced on the contactor usually has an equal or larger number of aux blocks to re-source alongside it.

Compatibility Parameters That Decide Fit
| Parameter | Specification | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Contact arrangement | 1NO + 1NC | Determines whether your PLC logic works unchanged |
| Mirror contact | Yes, on the NC side | Required for safety applications and for mirror-contact diagnostics |
| Rated auxiliary current | see product sheet | Signal current, not load current — do not conflate the two |
| Width on DIN rail | single module width | Decides whether it fits the remaining panel space |
| Mechanical coupling | snap-fit to contactor side | Must engage positively; a loose fit causes intermittent signals |
| Terminal type | screw terminals | Match your panel conductor size |
Catalogue references for the specification above: RF Mando DILM150C-XHI22 auxiliary contact block and RF Mando DILA-XHI22 auxiliary contact module (XTCEXFAC22). Both are MOQ-based, ship on our own PCBA and housing tooling, and one free sample per SKU is available before you commit to a production order.
Ordering Pattern We See From Distributors
The common pattern is a mixed order: contactor frames plus aux blocks in a 1:1 or 1:2 ratio, sometimes with a few different frame sizes in the same carton. That is fine for us and it is worth stating explicitly — mixed-SKU cartons are normal, and we will produce a carton-level packing list that breaks out quantities by SKU so your receiving team can put the right parts on the right shelf.
